Update to Workplace First Aid Programs

The Lifesaving Society has been advised by the Government of Alberta of required changes to workplace first aid programs. The current changes will result in additional program content (as defined by the Government of Alberta) and will impact minimum course times for recertification courses.

 Affiliate delivery partners are required to make sure all workplace first aid recertification courses scheduled after January 1, 2020 meet the updated 8 hour requirement for recertification courses.

With the required updates there are impacts to some program resources. The Lifesaving Society will communicate to Affiliates, Trainers and Instructor when updated resources are available.
