The Lifesaving Society offered a special scholarship program to athletes and officials representing Canada at this year's Lifesaving World Championships. The Society awarded the scholarships based on athletes being appointed to Canada's National or Development teams, and for Officials who have had their appointments endorsed by the Branch.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a resident of Alberta or the Northwest Territories
• Be a member in good standing
• Be a registered athlete or current official
• Demonstrate a commitment to the humanitarian mandate of the Society by giving back, and/or a demonstrated financial need.

Preference will be given to those who meet all criteria.
