CPRA Survey: Framework for Recreation in Canada

The Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) is in the process of revising the Framework for Recreation in Canada - the guiding document for public recreation providers in Canada since 2015 - to reflect the evolving needs of communities across the country, and they are currently seeking input for this revision.
The CPRA is particularly looking for feedback from the following individuals:
- Recreational and parks professionals from all sectors (Indigenous, municipal, provincial/territorial, non-profit, etc).
- Volunteers, coaches, and board members.
- Partners in public health, education, social services, and related fields.
- Academics and researchers focused on recreation or community well-being.
They also encourage organizations to complete the survey as a team (perhaps during a staff meeting) to reflect a broad range of perspectives.
The survey is available in two options (both in English and French), to accommodate for differing schedules:
The survey will be open until May 19, 2025. As a thank you, all survey participants will be entered into a draw to win one of two $100 Canadian Tire gift cards.
