Help Us Nominate the Canadian Athlete Representative!
Lifesaving Society Canada is seeking nominations from fellow high-performance athletes for the Canadian Athlete Representative!
The athlete representative is selected every two years, and serves as part of the Sport Commission to represent the needs and protect the interests of all high-performance athletes in Canada.
Qualifications:
The Athlete Representative must be:
- A high-performance athlete
- A member of a National Team within the last eight years
- A current registered athlete in good standing
- minimum of 16 years of age
- holds a current Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion certification or higher
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

To Nominate a Candidate:
- Ensure the candidate you are nominating meets all the eligibility criteria.
- Confirm that the candidate has reviewed the Terms of Reference (see above) and is willing to stand for election.
- Complete the Online Nomination Form and submit it before midnight on May 25, 2025.
In order to submit a nomination, please know that you must be a registered high-performance athlete in good standing.
