The Canadian Red Cross is retiring its water safety programming and encouraging their Water Safety Training Partners to transition to Lifesaving Society Canada programs during 2022. More information is available on our Swim Transition page.
Swimming, lifesaving, lifeguarding, first aid, boating, instructor and trainer programs. We train over 1 million Canadians each year.
Increase awareness of the public to the risks associated with activities in, on and around water and ice and to modify at-risk behaviours to eliminate drowning and water-related injury.
