The Swim Transition Instructor Clinic is now available!
Anyone with a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor award (current or not) may access this clinic to transition to a Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor until December 31, 2022. All practicum hours have been waived, and the cost of the clinic is $20.40 + GST which covers the Swim for Life Award Guide; certification and delivery fees have been waived.

For residents of Alberta and the Northwest Territories, we are happy to offer an online option for transitioning instructors on our Online Academy. This online platform is quick and easy to use for WSI's looking to transition at their own convenience.

The Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor to National Lifeguard Instructor Transition Form is for individuals who are looking to transition their Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Award to National Lifeguard Instructor. Getting your National Lifeguard Instructor award is as simple as submitting proof of the pre-requisites to experts@LifeSaving.org, then completing the online form. Please reference Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Transition with your submission.
