Any individual, facility or organization is invited to become a member of the Lifesaving Society, Alberta and Northwest Territories Branch. Members agree with the charitable mandate and drowning prevention mission of the Lifesaving Society and actively participate in the shaping of future Lifesaving Society programs and services. They play a vital part in education, training and drowning prevention by broadening the awareness of and access to Lifesaving Society programs and services to their community members, customers and guests. Interested parties please review the Affiliate and Associate Member Agreement for more information and return the signed copy to the Society. Once a signed copy is received, you will be contacted by a Society staff member for additional information.
The Lifesaving Society has made arrangements with Sports-Can Insurance Consultants Ltd. for Associate Affiliate Members and Lifesaving Society Instructors to apply for liability coverage (recommended minimum is $2,000,000).
It is strongly recommended that Associate Affiliate Members and Lifesaving Society Instructors have this liability coverage when providing contracted services or private lessons in the community.

The Society is excited to announce the release of the Employee Certification Tracker. This is a new feature to our website that allows authorized Lifesaving Society affiliate members the ability to track their employee’s certifications. The certification tracker is a customizable function for adding and/or removing employee’s and specify certification groups to track.
