ClubsLifesaving Clubs are a means for Lifesaving Society affiliates to deliver Lifesaving Sport programs to the public. Each club chooses its own pathway, either recreational, competitive or both. A club's goals and objectives will determine its pathway for the year. Lifesaving Clubs are a great way to keep teens and young adults involved in aquatics. Its unique abilities play to the interests of teens and pre-teens as they finish up their swimming lessons. It can encourage them to learn lifeguarding skills or appeal to their sense of competition. Lifesaving Clubs teach youth team work and leadership skills. Their new skills will encourage youth to take further lifesaving training and put their leadership skills to work by becoming a Swim or Lifesaving Instructor. Lifesaving Clubs are not just for youth. Lifesaving Clubs provide unique and diverse training programs for adults wishing to maintain their fitness while enjoying their love of aquatics. Clubs can focus on Senior and Master programming and create fun and challenging fitness activities for adults, with the opportunity to take part in competitive lifesaving events.
